The SNP Process
The SNP Process begins with an assessment of the current or "As-Is" state of an organization's security. This often includes a combination of technical, physical, and administrative components. The Needs Assessment step allows us to understand your security goals. We factor in your organization and industry specific needs and concerns, as well and any regulatory requirements.
Once the As-Is and Needs Assessment are completed, a document outlining current vulnerabilities or gaps is prepared and reviewed with you. We work with you to understand the degrees of risk for each of the vulnerabilities, and help you through any necessary "what if" scenarios. This ensures all mission critical elements are clear to everyone and that project goals are agreed upon.
Once objectives are decided, our technical and consulting teams work closely to provide remediation planning and recommendations. These will likely include a combination of technical (e.g. firewalls, data encryption, etc), administrative (e.g. policy and procedure implementation, security awareness training, etc.), and physical (e.g. site plans, visitor procedures, etc.).
Post implementation, we provide auditing services to gauge the effectiveness and adoption of implemented changes as well as to update your As-Is documentation. Throughout the entire process, the team at SNP Technologies provides you with expertise, supporting documentation, and ongoing support.
