Reports into: Practice Manager – Cyber Security Governance and Risk Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a system for measuring and tracking risks associated with the cloud infrastructure.
- Development and implementation of cloud security policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and privacy.
- Create comprehensive cloud security policies that align with the regulatory requirements. (Includes – implementing security controls, standards, and procedures)
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Regularly monitor all infrastructure and cloud services to ensure they are compliant with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Generate reports detailing the organization’s compliance with standards and will work towards improving these levels.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure cloud security standards are integrated into all cloud services and solutions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud or Infrastructure Engineering
- Implement and maintain Azure security policies and best practices.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST, Cyber security)
- Experience working with Cloud Security scanning tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.
- Manage Infrastructure Cyber Incident Recovery and maintain documentation.
- Strong communication and leadership
