Delivering Modern Cloud Native Applications with Open-Source Technologies on Azure

SNP will be co-presenting with the Microsoft Global Black Belt team on March 8th, 2018 for an interactive deep dive workshop on containers, microservices, Kubernetes and the Azure platform. This hands-on all-day session will be delivered by some of our best Microsoft Engineers and Partners to help our customers build and deliver cloud-native applications in Azure. We will spend much of the day doing hands-on work in a Hackfest-style workshop.

This workshop will focus on two scenarios:

Container Orchestration & Deployment

We will explore multiple orchestration options and approaches as well as management and monitoring considerations. Advanced topics will include persistent data storage options as well as integration for log management. We will also dive into interesting new scenarios leveraging advanced Azure services.

Containerizing Existing Applications

Developers are looking for ways to build applications quickly and with easier deployment capabilities. Infrastructure architects are interested in increasing server density and isolation between applications. A great solution for both audiences is containerization on Azure. We will explore best practices for containerizing your existing application as well as image registries and integration with CI/CD tooling.

The Workshop content presumes a 300-level of architectural expertise of infrastructure and solutions design in this domain (even if on another platform). We suggest attendees take the Microsoft Azure Essentials course as a prerequisite if unfamiliar with Azure.

The 2018 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition, in Las Vegas, brings together 40,000+ health IT professionals, clinicians, executives and vendors from around the world and over 300 education programs featuring keynotes, thought leader sessions, roundtable discussions, and workshops.

SNP Technologies is proud to be among the world-class speakers at the Microsoft Innovation Theatre on Wednesday, March 7 at 5 PM. During the conference, we will demonstrate SNP's Smart Healthcare Solution- our Deep Learning Analytics Model built on Microsoft Azure that aggregates and analyzes disparate healthcare claims data to quickly and accurately predict financial and clinical outcomes. We will cover actionable insights which include -Leakage analysis, Medical Utilization, CPT Code Analysis and, Attribution to identify gaps in services, predict ways to improve patient care coordination and identify operational cost-saving measures. This solution is applied successfully to a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) customer in Connecticut.

The Smart Healthcare Analytics Solution is now available for a Free Trial on Microsoft App Source.

The HIMMS18 conference is a great opportunity for SNP to interact with other passionate health IT professionals to discuss innovative, open, and interoperable technology that drives better financial and clinical outcomes with predictive analytics,” says Prakash Parikh, COO at SNP. “Our solution has been successfully deployed for a leading clinically integrated network (CIN) based in Connecticut, and it helped their business flourish. The fact that it’s now possible to target CINs and ACOs (accountable care organizations) based not just on prescribing data but rather through deeper predictive patient data is incredibly innovative. We are excited to discover how far we can take our data analysis efforts.”
