The client hosted its email services on Google Apps and had approximately 200 users.

The client needed:

  • A hosting service in Office 365, but wasn’t sure of the business plans or the services Office 365 had to offer.

  • To migrate mailboxes, calendar events, contacts and tasks to Office 365.

The SNP Solution

  • As part of the process of deploying Office 365, SNP suggested Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP) email service to migrate the contents of user mailboxes to Office 365.

  • A Microsoft import tool to back all emails from Google Apps as a .pst file.

  • Due to the challenges of the import service, SNP created a mapping file and moved the .pst files in the required path file to host the email services in Office 365 successfully.
