Initiation
- Begin by reaching out to your current Microsoft partner to initiate the transition process.
- Provide SNP with your existing partner’s Company Name and Microsoft ID so we can seamlessly complete the transfer request on your behalf.
- SNP will establish the partner relationship and provision your Azure plan ahead of the transition-ensuring a smooth, disruptionfree handover
Planning
- You’ll sign a new Microsoft Customer Agreement with SNP to authorize the partnership and ensure full compliance with Microsoft requirements.
- SNP will initiate and complete the subscription, and reservations transfer through the Microsoft Partner Center—managing the entire process end-to-end for a seamless transition.
Onboarding
- Your current partner’s admin agent will receive an automated Microsoft notification indicating that you’ve requested to transfer your subscriptions.
- The current partner reviews and approves the transfer request, finalizing the handover of your subscriptions.
- Once approved, Microsoft sends a confirmation email to you, your current partner, and SNP-officially completing the transfer process.
Operations
- All subscriptions and reservations included in the transfer will automatically move from your current partner to SNP, appearing under your new Azure plan without service disruption.
- Your existing user, group, and serviceprincipal permissions remain fully intact, ensuring continuity on your Azure RBAC assignments during the transition.
- After the transfer, you can remove the previous partner’s Azure RBAC access and assign SNP the required access, completing the transition to your new CSP partner.
